A loom out of a piece of cartoon

A vest with a thick braid - fun to knit!

What will become of the stars in this basket?

This is a lot of fun! Just tie a thread around the piece of cartoon and use a long needle to stitch in the threads. I cannot wait to see the result.

Inspired by books

Every week I carry home books from the local library. Design, gardening, tapestry, food, architecture or handicraft all inspire me to new projects.

More knitting

I carry my knitting in a small Chinese bag with me wherever I go, should I get some time over to knit.

This yarn is a mixture of wool and camel hair, very soft and warm, nice to knit with!

Inspired by November

November sunset at three o'clock p. m.

The setting sun makes the white shell sand look red.

This composition was just there on the beach one day, I wonder who made it!

Finished objects

A wollen waistcoat, Norwegian style pattern, lined with red fleece.

I managed to finish the patchwork and have now a warm blanket to wrap around my legs when I am knitting in my favorite chair.

More Items

White lace on a blue cushion looks fine on my bed.

New potholders can always come to use in the kitchen.

This rug is made from old, worn out cotton sheets, cut in small ribbons and then crocheted.
