Fair

Last Friday I went to Stockholm, Kista to visit the Sewing Fair. Not only was there a parking horror with not enough parking space so I had to find a place half a kilometre away with a long qeue to get a parking ticket, but also there was a very long qeue to get in. It took me one hour just to enter the fair. It was jammed with women of all ages - fun to watch mothers with babies, elderly ladies with canes and youngsters in funny clothing. Lots of stands had cloth for making quilts - it has become very popular these days. There were also a lot of yarns, sewingmachines, jewellery, embroidery kits and fabrics, but nowhere could I find what I was looking for: Canvas and wool yarn. I have to go to England I guess.
